Step I - Since County Commissioners felt it was the right thing to do by asking the US Congress to transfer property in fee to leaseholders on Navarre Beach and the leaseholders are all paid up on ad valorem taxes, then we, the leaseholders, request the County Commissioners to consider using residential lease fee payments made from 2006 thru 2014 totaling $6.9 million for beach re-nourishment.  In addition, another $1.1 million has been collected for the 5% property rental fees.  Residential lease payments equaled $8 million for this period.  The rest of county land owners do not pay lease fees and their tax dollars would not be going to beach re-nourishment.

Therefore, we request that lease fees be used to protect the very valuable asset Navarre Beach represents.
